Childhood Minister
Maureen Collins has been on staff at Crossroads since 2001. She began her career at Crossroads as Preschool Minister. In 2009 when the Preschool and Children’s Ministries were combined, she assumed the role of Childhood Minister.
Maureen has served as a Special worker/trainer for both the Michigan and Ohio Baptist State Conventions. She shares her love of Vacation Bible School by serving on the state VBS team. Through her involvement with the Baptist State Convention she has assisted other churches as they organize and train workers for preschool and children’s programs. Maureen also serves as a trustee for the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.
She is married to Michael. They have three grown children, a son Marcus and twin daughters Michelle and Marnita. They have nine fantastic grandchildren.
In her ‘spare’ time, Maureen likes to sew, would love to quilt more, likes to read mysteries, and travel. Her greatest love is spending time with her ‘grands’.
